Hi I'm Elfie, aka Maeve. I'm in my 30s, mtf trans, a former software developer, and an aspiring professional author. I've been into storytelling for as long as I can remember, but I only got my serious start through Owl House fanfiction in 2022. I was driven by my need to add nuance and depth into my delicious, heinous, girl on girl smut.
So I wrote my first fanfic, A Healthy Distraction. It did well, I got some nice comments of encouragement and the rest was history. Nearly four years later and over a million words of fanfiction later, and here we are! I love writing ladies in the process of falling in love, already being in love, or being in immense peril. Oftentimes all of the above.
I aspire to write evocative and emotional stories that grip you by the heart and drag you along into the worlds I create or borrow from. In between writing more serious, moody long form stories I spend my time writing smut! Mostly yuri! Girls are cute! I also write about Polyamory, kinks of many varieties, particularly with a special fixation on a few in particular... see if you can guess them!
I started drawing around the same time, once again motivated by The Owl House. I have a lot less to say about it because it's almost entirely so I can create gooner bait. The act of sketching is very therapeutic for me, almost meditative. Sometimes I'm possessed by the color demons and I render something absolutely incredible like this:
I made this in 2023, isn't that crazy? I still have no idea how I managed that. This year I hope to improve my overall process, my posing, and interesting rendering. Otherwise I'm also trying to learn how to animate and how to draw comics. So stay tuned for that!
